Kids of all ages join in the fun as they fire up their GameBoys to help the good guy, SpongeBob SquarePants, as they explore the tropical "Bikini Bottom" and play SpongeBob's as they search for clues, unlock secret levels, navigate maps, collect oven knobs, and find the lost spatula in this zany, multi-level action-packed game. Yes, there's even a pirate's chest to search for!
Feed the ghosts (they're hungry!) but avoid the jellyfish (ouch!) in your search for The Flying Dutchman's Golden Spatula. You see, SpongeBob's quest is to become the greatest "Fry Cook" of all time! You know, the Master Fry Cook! Instantly, SpongeBob is our hero! Other underwater pals include Sandy Cheeks, Squidworth, Mr. Krabs and Patrick Star.
The animation and sound effects are awesome! This game is good for hours of fun because it's hard to beat, even if you're a Color GameBoy pro. One of my testers recommends using GameShark codes with this game to get to higher levels. "There are so many enemies, so little time," commented 9-year-old Tim. Otherwise, you're good to go for mega-hours of game-challenging fun!
Off-beat and full of comic mischief, this game scores high in replayability. Warning: this game is guaranteed for loads of laughs, especially when SpongeBob loses his pants and his underwear! Don't worry, he's just a sponge!
