| This fabulous rhyming picture book for younger children is one of my favorites this
year! My kids love bunnies and what isn't cozier than a couple of bunnies snuggling in
their warm, winter quilt as they wait for Santa Claus to visit? If you're looking for a warm and toasty bedtime tale, this is it! It's a tremendous help in tucking excited children into bed, because it reassures them (whether they're 3 years old or 5!) that Santa Claus will indeed come on Christmas Eve when they're asleep and tucked in for good! Kids enjoy the pages of this book which include little chipmunks ice skating in the forest, funny squirrels who hurl snowballs, little deer sledding down hills, colorful Cardinals who have a knack for decorating trees with bows and bells (move over, Surprise By Design folks!), and mice belting Christmas carols. Whether it's helping mommy bake Christmas cookies, or lining Christmas stockings on the fireplace mantle, this book does a terrific job helping children understand the magic of Christmas. Nicely illustrated and written, I think eight reindeer and a jolly elf would agree with me when I say job well done on this book! Highly recommended by The Review Zone.com. |
