| Get on your warm and fuzzy slippers and your child's favorite blanket and head for the
nearest rocking chair! Here's a big picture book that is sure to bring a smile to your child! You can't help but fall in love with Pudgy, the lonely puppy, as you and your little one read this book together. You'll learn more about Pudgy and Lucy, a lonely little girl with a big heart. Kids and dogs are a great combination! I would highly recommend this book for young dog lovers! If you're introducing a new puppy or young dog to your 3-year-old, this would make a great read before you get the puppy. This book validates the importance of friendship between kids and dogs. By reading this book, kids ages 3 and up can learn the value of canine companionship. Nicely illustrated by Caroline Jayne Church, author Pippa Goodhart weaves a warm little tale about a two lonely little souls: a puppy and a little girl. How they find each other is magical and the happiness they find is priceless and forever. My bichon frise even enjoyed this book! Seriously! Rosie was very comfortable sitting in my lap as I read her this story. Granted, this dog is smart (and a baby, if you will!) , but that is not to say this book is for the dogs. Again, high recommendations from The Review Zone.com and two paws up for this book for dog lovers of all ages, especially little ones!! |
