Instructions are very simple. You do, however, need to invest in a good supply of
drawing pencils, colored pencils, pens, erasers, and paper before you spend time with this
book. The book is the perfect size to open on an art table, using it for guidance and
inspiration. Kids will learn that creating a series of spheres, tubes and boxes goes a
long way into crafting heads, hands, bodies, and even clever critters.
For the very basics in Manga face designs, this book is ideal. The numbered stages are
nicely illustrated and complimented by text that makes sense to most kids. One of the keys
to Manga illustration is its emphasis on the eyes. You'll find excellent instructions on
drawing basic eyes and learning angles and eye expressions.
